Seth Olinsky is an American musician and composer who achieved international success as the guitarist, singer and founder of the experimental rock band Akron/Family. Seth is a prolific composer of music for concert, film, tv, and commercials, composing award winning commercial work for Nissan, FitBit, Nike, Gatorade, Brand Jordan, Vitamin Water, Honda, RSM, AT&T, Samsung, Hearts on Fire and the Turbo Tax Superbowl spot Boston Tea Party directed by Noam Murro as well as full campaigns for Bridgestone, Jimmy Johns, and Apartments.com featuring Jeff Goldblum. He recently composed the music for the HBO TV show State of Play by director Peter Berg and the Michael Heizer documentary Levitated Mass by director Doug Pray, He also has original music featured in the video game Sunset Overdrive, the films Worlds Greatest Dad (featuring Robin Williams), and Hall Pass, the tv shows Sex & Drugs & Rock and Roll,  The Grand Tour, and Friday Night Lights, and campaigns for Strongbow Cider, Michelin, and Sony.
